Making renting better for young people in Tower Hamlets

New Community Research Project

Making renting better for young people in Tower Hamlets

Aged 18-30? Living in East London? Wanting to make it better and fairer for young people to rent?

If yes, we want to support you to do research into the experiences of young people renting privately and to use this research to work towards making renting better and fairer for young people.

No previous experience with research is required as full training will be provided, and you will also be given vouchers if you decide to take part.

The project has also been designed in a way to support your involvement to be flexible, to suit the time you have available to take part, and there will also be incentives to thank-you for your time (including food and drink and vouchers).

We are still looking for young people to join the project, so please contact Philip Mullen by email or by calling 020 7392 2956 to join us!

Our First Peer Research Project

The Needs of Older People in Tower Hamlets

This new project is following on from the success of our first peer-research project last year, where we trained a group of people aged over 50 to find out what the biggest concerns are for older people in Tower Hamlets.

Safety came out as one of the biggest concerns for older people. Watch this video to find out more about the process and findings from this project.
