Located on Toynbee Hall’s ground floor, Meeting Room 1 is a
beautiful modern space with a historic twist, ideal for training sessions, seminars and board meetings. The room boasts impressive acoustics and natural light, making it ideal for running small courses and presentations or delivering lectures. Meeting Room 1 is conveniently connected to the Ashbee Hall via internal doors. The Ashbee Hall is in turn connected with the Lecture Hall, which means that all 3 rooms can be used concurrently. This is particularly useful for larger events and conferences, as it allows a smooth transition between the modern and historic spaces.Capacity

Training Room Hire
Hire Meeting Room 1 at the historic Toynbee Hall for your next training session or seminar. Our team will help you set up the space to suit the purpose of your event. We can provide AV equipment, including large screens and video projectors to ensure your audience remains engaged throughout your presentation or speech.
Additionally, we offer a full catering service with bespoke menus to suit your requirements. Speak to one of our team members and we’ll make the necessary arrangements for your event. For larger events suchs as conferences, corporate receptions and launches, see our Lecture Hall or Ashbee Hall
Event production
We can support you with the visual and atmospheric elements for your event; this includes everything from the AV/staging setup to the preparation of table plans and signage. As standard, we will always help you map out the guest journey and provide venue staffing to support you on the day.

Lecture Hall
Home of great debates since 1884, the Lecture Hall is our largest space hosting up to 100 people comfortably. A beautiful space that has hosted many historic events.
Ashbee Hall
Named after CR Ashbee, this historic room was fully restored in 2018 and is now available for hire for both corporate and private events.
Meeting Room 2 and 3
A minimalistic modern space with a capacity of up to 40 people, in a lecture style layout. This space can be used as a training classroom or a private dining room. Meeting Room 1 is conveniently connected to the Ashbee Hall via internal doors.
