When We Speak Youth Programme
When We Speak amplifies the power found in the lived experiences of young people to shape and bring about change in their communities.

Research
Research and Evaluation have been part of our identity since we were founded in 1884. Our research focuses on issues related to poverty, social and financial inclusion and wellbeing.

Financial health
Through the Financial Health Exchange, we work to improve the financial health of people in the UK. we help policy makers and practitioners create more financially inclusive environments.
Venue Hire London
Hire Our Venues
Our Grade II listed building in East London is now available to hire for a range of private and corporate events including conferences, seminars, receptions or training sessions. Our historic building has been a hub for social action since 1884 and could be the perfect venue for your event.
Depending on the size and scope of your event, we offer five halls for hire. We can also provide additional services such as event production and catering, so you can rest assured we’ll take care of everything.

History
Our new permanent exhibition is now closed
A new, free exhibition located in our newly renovated Toynbee Hall building is usually open to the public every weekday between 11am and 3pm on the third Saturday of each month but due to the current situation we are unable to keep the exhibition open.
Toynbee Hall: A Powerhouse for Social Change tells the stories of social action from the world’s first university settlement.
