Join us on Tuesday May 28th for the Emotional Support for Young People in Tower Hamlets Project Exhibition
We are excited to invite you to an exhibition of our Emotional Support For Young People (ESYP) during the cost-of-living crisis project.
Tuesday 28th May 2024
1pm – 3pm
Toynbee Hall, 28 Commercial Street, London, E1 6LS
How has the cost of living crisis impacted young people and their families?
What solutions can tackle these issues and connect communities?
Join us to hear directly from young people in Tower Hamlets who have trained as peer researchers to explore these important questions, and more, during the last couple of years.
The event will include:
- Interactive presentations of the findings and solutions.
- Exclusive video content, including behind the scenes and interviews with peer researchers.
- Opportunities to meet like-minded people and discuss these important issues.
- Refreshments.
We are inviting a range of regional, local and third sector organisations, as well as Tower Hamlets residents who have taken part in this work.
Toynbee Hall has been working in partnership with Thrive LDN and a group of young peer researchers, all aged 16-22, and all Tower Hamlets residents to deliver this Participatory Action Research project funded by the Health Foundation.
The aims of this project have been to explore the impacts the cost of living crisis is having on the emotional support that young people and parents are able to receive or provide. The action phase of this project then focussed on co-designing solutions with young people and parents.
As somebody who has an interest and role within policy making and supporting families, we’d like you to join the conversation for making positive change for the communities of Tower Hamlets and Greater London.
