Graphic Novel and Comic Strip making sessions in celebration of Black History Month

Black History Month Graphic Novel Workshop

Our Storyteller/Writer in Residence ran family-friendly Comic Strip and Graphic Novel Making sessions here at Toynbee Hall as part of Black History Month.

On Saturday 19th October, our Storyteller/Writer in Residence, Kashif Vaughan ran two story-making sessions at Toynbee Hall in celebration of Black History Month. The comic-strip workshop focused on the spider character Anansi which has far-reaching African origins whilst the graphic novel workshop was inspired by heroes of colour. Check out our photos charting all the creative ideas that emerged.
