When We Speak: Youth Activism Project Launch ft Nawi Collective – 1st October

Launching Toynbee Hall’s new youth activism project ‘When We Speak’ which aims to equip young people to run their own social impact project

This October, Toynbee Hall is launching the pilot to our new Youth activism project to support young people in East London in making a difference in their area in partnership with Nawi Collective.

Join us for a festive Launch on 1st October to hear all about the ‘When we speak’ project and find out how as a young person you could apply for a grant with us to bring change to your local area.

This night is about honouring East London youth’s ongoing resistance, resilience and activism- and spreading the word on this opportunity for us to support you to step into your power.

Young people, parents, youth workers, teachers, activists, community organisers- Come and make your voice heard, this space is yours.

This Launch event is part of Toynbee Hall’s When We Speak youth project kicking off this October with a series of public workshops with activists and community organisers, aimed at inspiring and enabling young people in East London to bring change. As part of this project Toynbee Hall will be directly supporting young people ages 15 to 25 to run their own local project by providing grant money, training and coaching between October and February.

We are currently recruiting young people for this project!

If you have an idea for a project to bring positive change and you have a connection to East London, find out how we could support you by emailing annick.metefia@toynbeehall.org.uk or drop us a message on our social media channels @toynbeehall.
