Would you like to volunteer and teach English?

Volunteer teachers, if you are fluent in English and are interested in connecting with new people, learning about their lives and helping them to learn English this may be the role for you. You may have experience and qualifications in teaching English, or you may just have enthusiasm, patience and a desire to help people interact with others and take new steps in their lives through improving their English.

We find that English language volunteering works best if a commitment of at least 3 months is made. If you want to do something for a shorter period of time, then we’ll let you know about other volunteering roles within the organisation. We’ll cover the cost of any phone calls, give you free accredited safeguarding training and clear guidance about how we keep everyone safe as an organisation. You will be asked to keep records of your volunteering and report back regularly to the Community Team.

Get in touch and we will send you an application pack and discuss with you how the role works.
