Contract Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 per annum

We are looking for a proactive Trusts and Grants Officer to join a dynamic development team for an innovativecharity combatting the causes and impacts of poverty for people and communities.

The role will lead on the creation and delivery of fundraising campaigns for new flagship projects targeting the needs of local young people and inspiring the next generation of social activists. The successful applicant will be supported to develop experience and skills in a broad range of fundraising activities around social welfare, debt and legal advice and community heritage.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the potential for strong funding relationships to enable work to tackle social injustice, be able to articulate complex information into simple and compelling messages and be able to work with people and stakeholders at all levels.

Experience of written communication to deadlines and of managing or developing relationships is needed, ideally in a fundraising or communications capacity.

This is an exciting time to join our dynamic fundraising and communications team; we are building up to launching our newly redeveloped site as a place to inspire future change, respond to emerging need and act as a catalyst to tackle wider inequality. In a time of spiralling living costs, increasing gentrification and loss of state support, this is needed more than ever.
