Contract Salary: Unpaid with Residential live-in accomodation flat share (£100 contribution charge per month)

Are you interested in engaging with a charity that focuses on working towards a future without poverty bridging the gap between people of all social and financial backgrounds? Toynbee Hall is inviting applications for our next cohort of Residential Voluntary Workers. We are offering a 6-month residency to three heritage creatives: artists, storytellers/writers of different genres, and heritage activist programmers who wish to develop their practice in new ways.

Funded by the Single Finance Guidance Body (SFGB), perviously the Money Advice Service (MAS), Toynbee Hall is the lead partner of a London-wide free face-to-face debt advice partnership which supports over 25,000 Londoners with their debt and money problems each year. Our trained and accredited advisors are based across 28 partner organisations and help with all types of money worries from rent and council tax arrears to credit card and catalogue debt.

We can work with clients to prioritise their bills and debts, helping them to write letters and advocating on their behalf.
