The “Know Your Rights” pro bono work has helped us respond to surging demand for legal support locally and an avalanche of common issues that resulted from the additional pressures of the Covid-19 crisis on people’s lives.

The project has been a vital response to address an expanding access to justice gap, exacerbated by Covid-19 and has helped ensure that individuals can access easy to understand information on how to respond to common legal issues and exercise their rights. As well as legal information packs, easy to follow guides, and social media shareable information, the project has created a range of video resources that have been shared across social media. In the first two months that the video content was live it was viewed a total of 584 times.

The LawWorks Pro Bono Awards take place on Tuesday 7th December. Thank you to all the volunteers and firms who have supported the work.
