   <description><![CDATA[<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; ">The Toynbee Hall clock mysteriously stopped ticking on 9<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;March 2006 just moments after 2.45am, the time that John Profumo died. Profumo, better known as Jack, was Toynbee Hall&#8217;s longest standing volunteer giving over 40 years of service, but who was perhaps better known for his involvement in the Christine Keeler scandal which rocked the Government of the day in 1963.<span>&nbsp;</span></span>]]></description>
