Ashbee Hall
The Ashbee Hall is named after CR Ashbee who formed the Guild of Handicraft in 1888 at Toynbee Hall. The Room is still decorated in the arts and crafts style, retaining 'tree of life' medallions, Toynbee Hall’s logo, on the walls and shields of the Oxford and Cambridge colleges that were made by the members of the Guild.
Latticed windows with mullioned surrounds, wooden flooring and a marble and wood fireplace all help to create a unique atmosphere in this historic room. There is also a grand piano in the Ashbee Hall that can be used with your hall booking.
The original wooden dining table is still in use, and can be used as one long table or separated into smaller tables. There is also a choice of modern rectangular tables.
