The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2017
Double your donation and help us raise £25,000 for young people this Christmas
Donate to Toynbee Hall on theBigGive.org.uk from 12pm on #GivingTuesday 28th November and your donation will be doubled!
For the fourth year running, Toynbee Hall is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, raising funds for our youth mentoring project Make it! During the challenge this year we aim to raise £25,000 to support vulnerable young people across London realise their potential.
To do this we have the help of the fantastic people at The Proms at St Jude's and the Big Give’s philanthropic partner, The Childhood Trust who for this week only will double all online donations on theBigGive.org.uk. So, give what you can before midday on Tuesday 5th December and have double the impact!
Make it! provides opportunities for young people to make new friends, break out of their comfort zones and have a greater impact in their community. Last year we found Make it! had a hugely positive impact on the young people we work with. 90% of participants felt it encouraged them to engage more in class and 91% of parents believed this programme helped improve their child's social skills.
You can also donate by sending in a cheque made payable to Toynbee Hall, but this will not be match funded. Please send any cheques to Development Team, Toynbee Hall, 52 Old Castle Street, London, E1 7AJ.
- £7 could pay for one young person to participate in 8 group work sessions helping them make new friends and build confidence
- £48 could pay for 8 group work sessions for a group of young people, helping them to develop empathy and communication skills so that they can better communicate with their peers and build their own social networks
