We are delighted that from this year, we will be working in partnership with Tower Hamlets College to deliver a new apprentice scheme.
This programme will provide young people in Tower Hamlets with a paid, skills and work based learning programme, leading to nationally recognised Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.
Here at Toynbee Hall, we will be taking on apprentices to undertake work based learning within our office as valuable members of our team. They will work alongside our staff to provide departmental support and gain vital experience in the workplace.
What are Apprenticeships?
An Apprenticeship is a job with an accompanying skills development programme designed by employers in the sector. It allows the apprentice to gain technical knowledge and real practical experience, along with functional and personal skills, required for their immediate job and future career. These are acquired through a mix of learning in the workplace, formal off the job training and the opportunity to practice and embed new skills in a real work context.
Apprenctices will gain opportunities to develop practical skills whilst gaining the necessary theoretical knowledge to enhance their careers. Tower Hamlets College offers apprenticeship opportunities across London with leading employers across a range of sectors
