We’ve worked with young people in our local community for over 100 years, working  in a range of  innovative new ways

to improve wellbeing and develop new skills.


Research and Evaluation have been part of our identity since we were founded in 1884. Our research focuses on issues related to poverty, social and financial inclusion and wellbeing.

Through the Financial Health Exchange, we work to improve the financial health of people in the UK. we help policy makers and practitioners create more financially inclusive environments.

Our Grade II listed building is now available to hire. Our historic building has been a hub for social action since 1884 and could be the perfect venue for your event.

Our new, permanent exhibition is now open

A new, free exhibtion located in the renovated Toynbee Hall building is now open to the public every weekday between 11am and 3pm and on the 3rd weekend of every month.
